Position
Due to continuing strong growth in our business, we have openings for 1-2 product design engineers. This position will be responsible for executing the full design cycle for new products from conception to implementation. As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, you will also design and implement improvements to existing products.

Specific responsibilities include:
- Interact with sales and marketing personnel to conceptualize new products that are responsive to market needs.
- Execute the design of new products by creating 3D models, designing components and assemblies, creating detailed drawings and prototypes, testing, validating, and implementing.
- Troubleshoot existing products to improve performance, durability, and manufacturability.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues.
- Manage product testing and certification projects with outside labs and agencies.
- Update product drawings, engineering prints, and bills of materials as required.
Qualifications
We require a hands-on professional with initiative, self-confidence, and the ability to think through problems and implement solutions. Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
- BS degree in mechanical engineering.
- 5-7 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with electro-mechanical assemblies and fabricated metal products is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, AutoCad, and SolidWorks.
- Superior attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to bring design projects to completion.
